NEW ULM — The Grand Center for Arts and Culture invites the public to participate in fall arts education classes. The newly released fall scheduled offers a wide range of creative classes for children and adults of various interests taught by local artists and professionals. Examples of new classes added this fall are provided below.

The birch trees will be added in the second class, held on Oct. 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. All materials are included and students will leave the course with a 16×16″ wood framed painting. Cost is $80 per student.

In the “Sip and Chalk” class on Oct. 6, Sharon Sackett will demonstrate and instruct students to create beautiful chalk art. Students will enjoy a glass of wine while making their own piece of thanksgiving-themed artwork. Class is held from 6-8pm and includes all materials. Cost is $45 for students 21+.
