New Ulm Police

Received a vandalism report at New Ulm Mobile Village, 2526 S. Bridge, at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday. Four dents in the hood and one in a passenger door were reported in a 2014 Chevrolet. No estimate was available.

Received a vandalism report at 226 S. Franklin at 9:24 a.m. Thursday. A window was shot out of a van, possibly by a BB gun. An estimate was not available.

Sleepy Eye Police

Received a theft report at 11:11 a.m. Thursday of a coin machine broken into and coins taken overnight at King Coin Laundry, 211 Main St. West. The loss was estimated by the owner to be $500.

Received an attempted theft report at 1:29 p.m. Thursday at the Sleepy Eye Car Wash, 600 Main St. East sometime between 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. Entry was not gained but some damage was done. An estimate was not available.

State Patrol

Received a two-vehicle rear-end crash report on State Highway 99 in Le Sueur County at 5:27 p.m. Wednesday. A 2014 Ford Escape driven by Tanisha M. Hering, 23, Elysian, was eastbound on Highway 99, slowed for another eastbound car that stopped and was rear-ended a 2007 Chevy Venture driven by Kristi S. Freerksen, 27, Lake Crystal. Freerksen and passengers Natalie c. Johnstone, 18, Madeline K. Hutchens, 8, and Sebastian K. Valle, 3, all of Lake Crystal were transported to River’s Edge Hospital, St. Peter with non-life-threatening injuries. Hering was transported to Mayo Health System, Mankato with non-life-threatening injuries. All people wore seat belts. No alcohol was detected. Damage was severe to both vehicles. The Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
