documents. Bids will

the Sleepy Eye Hous-

ing & Redevelopment

. At which time bids will

be publicly opened and

read aloud.

A mandatory pre-bid

walkthrough for this

project is scheduled

for September 29,

2026 at 10:00am (lo-

cal time). Prime Con-

tractors interested in

bidding are required to

attend. Meet at Ross

Park Apartments at

313 4th Ave SE,

Sleepy Eye, MN

56085.

Bidding requirements,

drawings and specifi-

cations may be exam-

ined at the Sleepy Eye

Housing & Redevelop-

ment Authority's office

and the Consultant's

Office (Institute for En-

vironmental Assess-

ment, Inc., 610 North

Riverfront Drive, Man-

kato, MN 56001). The

documents are also

available upon request

by emailing

institute.com.

It is the Housing and

Redevelopment

Authority's intention to

award a single prime

contract to the lowest

responsible bidder for

the project listed

above, based on avail-

able funding. The pro-

jects construction start

is anticipated to be in

February 2027.

It is the Bidder's

responsibility to inquire

as to the addenda is-

sued.

A certified check or

bank draft, payable to

the order of the Sleepy

Eye Housing &

Redevelopment Au-

thority, or a satisfactory

bid bond executed by

the Bidder(s) and an

acceptable surety, in

the amount of five per-

cent (5%) of the total

bid, must be submitted

with each bid.

No less than minimum

salaries and wages set

forth in the contract do-

cuments must be paid

on this project (includ-

ing the higher applica-

ble minimum wage re-

quirement of Federal

Prevailing Wage Law –

Davis Bacon Act and

State of Minnesota

Prevailing Wage Law –

Minnesota Statues

177.41 through

177.44). Contractors

must take affirmative

action to ensure that

employees and appli-

cants for employment

are not discriminated

against because of

race, color, creed, reli-

gion, national origin,

sex, marital status,

age, sexual orientation,

disability, familial

status or status with re-

gard to public assis-

tance. HUD, Section 3

Compliance & Docu-

mentation are required

on this project as stipu-

lated in the Bid Docu-

ments and HUD Stan-

dards.

Successful bidders

must furnish and pay

for satisfactory perfor-

mance and payment

bonds, in the penal

sum of the full amount

of the contract award-

ed.

The Sleepy Eye Hous-

Authority reserves the

right to reject any or all

bids, to waive any in-

formalities in the bid-

ding, and to award the

contract to the lowest

responsible bidder.
