Bid Contents

The bid shall include

an all-inclusive price

for the Scope-of-Work.

The price shall be bro-

ken out into the follow-

ing line items:

Performance Bond

Fees

Wood window preser-

vation as noted per

Scope-of-Work

Minnesota’s prevailing

wage law (Minnesota

Statutes 177.41

through 177.44 re-

quires employees

working on state- fund-

ed construction pro-

jects be paid

wage-rates compar-

able to wages paid for

similar work in the area

where the project is lo-

cated. No laborer or

mechanic employed

directly on the project

work site by the con-

tractor or any subcon-

tractor, agent or other

person doing or con-

tracting to do all or part

of the work of the pro-

ject is permitted or re-

quired to work more

hours than eight hours

per day unless paid for

all hours in excess of

the prevailing hours at

a rate of at least one

and one-half (1.5)

times the hourly basic

rate of pay; and a la-

borer or mechanic may

not be paid a lesser

rate of wages than the

prevailing wage rate in

the same or most simi-

lar trade or occupation

in the area. The pre-

vailing wage rates for

this Brown County pro-

ject appear on the fol-

lowing pages, current

as of 2023-12-26

Note: Prevailing wage

rates will need to be

re-evaluated at the

time of project award

and contracting.

Pre-Selection Meeting

A Pre-Selection Meet-

ing MAY be held VIR-

TUALLY with the ap-

parent qualified

bidder(s) prior to Final

Selection and Approval

at the Brown County

Board Meeting.

Bidders will be contact-

ed prior to January 10,

2025 to coordinate

scheduling of meeting.

At this time, the bid, in-

cluding

pre-qualifications, will

be reviewed for accu-

racy and qualification.

Bidder(s) will be noti-

fied following County

Board Meeting to be

held on January 21,

2025.
