NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING
WHEREAS, the New
Ulm Planning Commis-
sion has initiated
proceedings to consid-
er the amendment of
Chapter 9 and Chapter
10 of Appendix A –
Zoning Ordinance to
the City Code to
reduce the number of
required parking
spaces for residential
units in the B-4 (Cen-
tral Business) zoning
district from two
spaces to one space.
WHEREAS, the New
Ulm Planning Commis-
sion has initiated
proceedings to consid-
er the amendment of
Chapter 10 of Appen-
dix A – Zoning Ordi-
nance to the City Code
to include regulations
pertaining to the
demolition of structures
and the removal of
footings and founda-
tions in the City of New
Ulm.
WHEREAS, the City
Code requires that
these matters be con-
sidered by the New
Ulm Planning Commis-
sion.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED,
pursuant to the City
Code, the New Ulm
Planning Commission
will meet at 4:30 P.M.
on Thursday, January
25, 2024 in the City
Hall Council
Chambers, 100 North
Broadway, New Ulm,
Minnesota to consider
these matters. The
public and all interest-
ed parties are hereby
officially notified of said
hearings.
All written comments
will be read into the
record and must be re-
ceived by Noon,
Wednesday, January
24, 2024, and shall be
submitted to: Com-
munity Development
Department, City of
New Ulm, 100 North
Broadway, New Ulm,
MN 56073 or to
