nesota 56073 at 2:00

p.m. local time on

Tuesday, January 9,

2024, for furnishing of

all work and materials

for consideration of the

project: New Ulm Re-

creation Center HVAC

Upgrades.

PROJECT DESCRIP-

TION:

Construction Docu-

ments and Project

Manual describe gen-

eral construction of the

interior building reno-

vations at the New Ulm

Recreation Center

HVAC Upgrades. The

work includes, but is

not limited to, selective

demolition, structural

steel components, in-

sulation, gypsum board

systems, ceilings,

painting, HVAC Equip-

ment, miscellaneous

electrical installations,

and other work as

shown on the draw-

ings.

Construction work for

the project is shown on

the drawings and de-

fined in the Project

Manual as prepared by

EDI-Dolejs Consulting

Engineers of Mankato,

MN.

A bidders conference

has been scheduled

for 10:00 a.m. on

Wednesday, De-

cember 20, 2023 at the

project site. All prime

contract bidders and

subcontractors are in-

vited. Representatives

of the design team and

Owner will be in atten-

dance. Summarized

minutes of the meeting

will be circulated to at-

tendees. Information

relevant to the Bid Do-

cuments will be record-

ed in an addendum, is-

sued to Bid Document

recipients.

PLETED BY: SEP-

TEMBER 12, 2024.

Bids must be on the

basis of cash payment

for the work and ma-

terials, and no bid will

be considered unless

sealed and filed with

the City and accom-

panied by a cash

deposit, certified

check, or bidder’s

bond, payable to City

of New Ulm, for not

less than 5% of the bid,

as a guarantee that the

bidder will, within ten

(10) days after notifica-

tion of the award of

contract, enter into an

agreement with the

City and furnish a bond

for the full amount of

the contract as provid-

ed for by law. This

deposit will be subject

to forfeiture as provid-

ed by law.

Cash deposits, certi-

fied checks, and

bidder’s bonds of the

three (3) lowest

bidders may be re-

tained until the contract

has been awarded and

executed, but no

longer than 60 days

from the date of open-

ing bids. All other

deposits will be refund-

ed promptly.

The City of New Ulm

reserves the right to

reject any and all bids,

to waive any informali-

ties therein; and to ad-

journ the meeting to a

later date for the pur-

pose of further con-

sideration of the bids

and taking action

thereon. No bid may be

withdrawn within 60

days from the date of

opening of bids.

The City Council will

consider award of con-

tract at their regular

meeting held on Tues-

day, January 16, 2024.

The City of New Ulm

does not discriminate
