AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING
CHAPTER 5 – LIQUOR
LICENSING AND RE-
GULATION OF THE
NEW ULM CITY
CODE TO AMEND
SUNDAY HOURS
FOR LIQUOR SALES
BE IT ORDAINED BY
THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY NEW
ULM:
SECTION 1. That
Chapter 5: Liquor
Licensing and Regula-
tion, Section 5.33, of
the City Code of the
City of New Ulm is
hereby amended as
follows:
Section 5.33. Sunday
sales.
Notwithstanding any-
thing herein to the con-
trary, an annual Sun-
day on-sale liquor
license may be issued
to hotels, bowling
centers, restaurants, or
clubs (as those terms
are herein defined in
this chapter or in Min-
nesota Statutes,
chapter 340A), which
have on-sale intoxicat-
ing liquor licenses and
facilities for serving not
less than thirty guests
at one time, and a
holder of a Sunday
on-sale liquor license
may serve alcoholic
beverages between
the hours of 8:00 a.m.
on Sundays and 1:00
a.m. on Mondays, in
conjunction with the
serving of food.
SECTION 2. This Ordi-
nance shall take effect
and shall be in force
thirty (30) days from
and after its adoption,
approval, and publica-
tion.
