meet in the Council

Chambers in the New

Ulm City Hall on Tues-

day, August 1, 2023 at

4:30 p.m. to consider

the variance request of

Terry Zinniel to permit

amplified sound at Zin-

niel Utility Contracting,

4 Somsen Street, to

host Party by the Pond

event on Saturday, Au-

gust 26, 2023. The

variance is for the time

period from 3:00 p.m.

to 12:00 a.m. The City

Code limits the produc-

tion or reproduction of

sound between the

hours of 9:00 p.m. to

9:00 a.m. if it is audible

at a distance of 500′

from the source.

This variance request

is authorized by Sec-

tion 8.08, Subdivision 9

of the New Ulm City

Code. Notice of the

Public Hearing is being

sent to all property

owners within 500 feet

of the source.

All interested parties
