HEARING
WHEREAS, Paul and
Janice Gorman, have
filed an application with
the City of New Ulm re-
questing a Conditional
Use Permit to exceed
the height limitations
for a fence in the front
yard area of 7 th South
Street on the Front 1/2
of Lot 8, Block 72
South of Center Street.
The street address of
the property is 627
South Broadway; and
WHEREAS, Fred and
Laura Bianchi have
filed an application with
the City of New Ulm,
requesting Variances
for the following:
1. To reduce the front
yard setback on North
Valley Street to zero
feet (0′);
2. To increase the al-
lowable size of a de-
tached accessory
building to 1,200
square feet; and
3. To increase the
maximum height of a
detached accessory
building to twenty-three
(23′).
to allow the construc-
tion of a detached ac-
cessory building in an
RT-2 (Traditional
Neighborhood
Residence) zoning dis-
trict on Parts of Lots
8-13, Block 11, North
of Center Street and lo-
cated at 1106 North
Valley Street; and
WHEREAS, the City
Code requires that
these matters be con-
sidered by the New
Ulm Planning Commis-
sion.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED,
pursuant to the City
Code, the New Ulm
Planning Commission
will meet at 4:30 P.M.
on Thursday, July 27,
2023 in the City Hall
Council Chambers,
100 North Broadway,
New Ulm, Minnesota to
consider these
matters. The public
and all interested par-
ties are hereby official-
ly notified of said hear-
ings.
All written comments
will be read into the
record and must be re-
ceived by Noon,
Wednesday, July 26,
2023, and shall be
