NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of New Ulm, Brown County, Minnesota will meet in the Council Chambers in the New Ulm City Hall on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. to consider ordering the following improvements to be made, to-wit:

2023 Surface Reconstruction Project

1. German Street from 12th South Street to 16th South Street

2. State Street from 17th North Street to 19th North Street

3. 8th North Street from Broadway to Washington Street

4. 17th North Street from Franklin Street to Jefferson Street 5. 6th South Street from Broadway to German Street

6. 1st South Street from Valley Street to Front Street

pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. The estimated cost of the 2023 Surface Reconstruction Project is $516,000. The area proposed to be assessed for such improvements is each lot, piece and parcel of property specially benefited by said improvements. A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing. Such persons as desired to be heard with reference to the proposed improvements will be heard at this meeting.
