OPTION SALES TAX FOR TRANSPORTA-TION IN BROWN COUNTY
MINNESOTA
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Com-missioners of Brown County, Minnesota will conduct a Public Hear-ing at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday December 20, 2022, in the com-missioners Room 204 of the Brown County Courthouse, 14 S. State Street, New Ulm, MN to receive public comments on the pro-posed continuation of the Local Option Sales Tax For Transporta-tion. The following is a summary of Minnesota Statutes 297A.993:
The authority for a Lo-cal Option Sales Tax for Transportation was passed by the 2013 Legislature. The Coun-ty Board may impose a local sales tax of up to 1/2 of one percent by resolution following a Public Hearing. Motor vehicles are not includ-ed in this sales tax. The funds from the sales tax must be dedi-cated to transportation projects. The projects identified for these funds are:
¯ Surface rehabilitation on CSAH 20 from CSAH 13 to TH 15 in 2023 $1,150,000
¯ Surface rehabilitation on CSAH 20 from CSAH 8 to TH 4 in 2023 $1,500,000
¯ Surface rehabilitation on CSAH 24 from CSAH 13 to TH 15 & in
Searles i n 2023 $1,250,000
¯ Surface rehabilitation on CSAH 27 from TH 14 to CSAH 11 in 2024 $2,000,000
¯ Surface rehabilitation on CSAH 2 from CSAH 23 to TH 14 in 2025 $1,050,000
¯ Surface rehabilitation on CSAH 23 from CSAH 2 to CSAH 3 in 2025 $850,000
¯ Surface rehabilitation on CSAH 2 from South County Line to CSAH 23
in 2026 $2,450,000
¯ Surface rehabilitation on CR 102 from CSAH 13 to TH 15 i n 2026 $750,000
¯ Surface rehabilitation on CSAH 29 from TH 68 to TH 4 in 2028 $3,800,000
¯ Surface rehabilitation on CSAH 10 from CSAH 24 to CSAH 27 in 2030 $1,300,000

The Board of Commis-sioners of Brown County Minnesota will consider the continua-tion of the Local Option Sales Tax pursuant to MN Statute 297A.993 and 297A.99.

It is Ordered and No-tice is given that on January 9, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., a hearing will be held in this Court at Brown County Courthouse, 14 South State Street, New Ulm, Minnesota, for the for-mal probate of an in-strument purporting to be the Will of the De-cedent dated, July 2, 2014, (“Will”), and for the appointment of Ann Dalhoff, whose ad-dress is 1569 Bluebill Trail, Chanhassen, MN, 55317 and David Windschitl, whose ad-dress is 6818 Valley Place N, Crystal, MN, 55427 as Co-Personal Representatives of the Estate of the Decedent in x an UNSUPER-VISED a SUPER-VISED administration. Any objections to the petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hear-ing. If proper and if no objections are filed or raised, the Personal Representatives will be appointed with full power to administer the Estate including the power to collect all as-sets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personal pro-perty, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate. The hearing will be held via Zoom
Notice is also given that (subject to Min-nesota Statutes section 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the Personal Representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.
