NOTICE OF PUBLIC

HEARING

WHEREAS, Bonnie

Lantz has filed an ap-

plication with the City

of New Ulm, request-

ing a Conditional Use

Permit to allow a six

foot (6′) tall fence in the

front yard setback area

on property zoned

RT-1 (Traditional

Neighborhood – Single

Family Residence Dis-

trict) at 1625 South

Franklin Street. The

property is legally

described as Lots 8

and 9, Block 125,

South of Center Street.

The maximum height

of a fence in the front

yard setback area is

four feet (4′); and

WHEREAS, John Gag

has filed an application

with the City of New

Ulm, requesting a Vari-

ance to allow a de-

tached garage to be

constructed five feet

(5′) from the front yard

property line on proper-

ty zoned R-1 (Single

Family Residence Dis-

trict) at 1339 Oak

Street. The property is

legally described as

Lot 4, Block 1,

Schneider’s 3 rd Addi-

tion. The required front

yard setback is thirty

feet (30′); and

WHEREAS, Kristen

Hanevick, has filed an

application with the

City of New Ulm, re-

questing a Variance to

allow a covered porch

to be constructed nine-

teen feet (19′) from the

front yard property line

on property zoned

RT-2 (Traditional

Neighborhood – Single

and Two – Family

Residence District) at

305 South Washington

Street. The property is

legally described as

Lot 13, Block 109,

South of Center Street.

The required front yard

setback is thirty feet

(30′); and

WHEREAS, the City

Code requires that

these matters be con-

sidered by the New

Ulm Planning Commis-

sion.

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED,

pursuant to the City

Code, the New Ulm

Planning Commission

will meet at 4:30 P.M.

on Thursday, Sep-

tember 29, 2022 in the

City Hall Council

Chambers, 100 North

Broadway, New Ulm,

Minnesota to consider

these matters. The

public and all interest-

ed parties are hereby

officially notified of said

hearings.

All written comments

will be read into the

record and must be re-

ceived by Noon,

Wednesday, Sep-

tember 28, 2022, and

shall be submitted to:

of New Ulm, 100 North

Broadway, New Ulm,
