NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

WHEREAS, Nicole Elsawaf (Applicant) and of Rich Draheim (Owner), have filed an application with the City of New Ulm requesting a Conditional Use Permit to allow the following: 1) convert the back half of the New Ulm Event Center into 22,000 square feet of climate controlled self-storage units; and 2) convert the detached warehouse building into 7,200 square feet of non-climate controlled storage units on this property legally described as Lot 2, Block 1, Bridge Street Industrial Park First Addition, except the Southwest 200 of Lot 2, City of New Ulm, Brown County Minnesota . The street address of the property is 301 20th South Street; and

WHEREAS, the New Ulm Planning Commission has initiated proceedings to consider the amendment of the “City of New Ulm Zoning Map” to bring this map into conformance with the proposed new “Zoning Ordinance of the City of New Ulm, Minnesota”; and

WHEREAS, the City Code requires that these matters be considered by the New Ulm Planning Commission.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, pursuant to the City Code, the New Ulm Planning Commission will meet at 4:30 P.M. on Thursday, January 27, 2022 in the City Hall Council Chambers, 100 North Broadway, New Ulm, Minnesota to consider these matters. The public and all interested parties are hereby officially notified of said hearings.
