NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
WHERE, the New Ulm Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing to consider changes in the standards governing land uses in the City of New Ulm. The Planning Commission will consider the repeal of the existing Chapter 9 (Land Use Regulation – Zoning) of the City Code and the adoption of a new Appendix A of the City Code to be known as the New Ulm Zoning Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the City Code requires that these matters be considered by the New Ulm Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, pursuant to the City Code, the New Ulm Planning Commission will meet at 4:30 P.M. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 in the City Hall Council Chambers, 100 North Broadway, New Ulm, Minnesota to consider this matter. The public and all interested parties are hereby officially notified of said hearing. written comments will be read into the record and must be received by Noon, Wednesday, December 29, 2021, and shall be submitted to the Community Development Department, City of New Ulm, 100 North Broadway, New Ulm, MN 56073 or to HYPERLINK “mailto:davids@new

SPECIFICATIONS
307 North Minnesota Street
Wall Replacement
City of New Ulm
GENERAL:
The City of New Ulm requests bids to repair or replace the wall at 307 North Minnesota Street in the City of New Ulm.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Bid shall include all specifications and designs for new materials. Bid shall include all materials and labor to properly complete the project as specified in the scoping as stated below.
Contractor shall complete project by July 29, 2022.
All work on this project must be code compliant.
All work must be completed and accepted before payment will be made. Payment will be made within 30 days of completion and receipt of invoice. Only one payment will be made by the City of New Ulm.
SCOPE: Repair or Replace wall section.
Replace minimum of 20′ of sidewall per drawing.
Expose bottom 4′ of remainder of the wall to verify condition per drawing.
Replace existing windows per drawing.
Provide interior finishes ready for paint per drawings.
List is not all inclusive or exclusive, must attend pre-bid walk through to bid project.
Contractor must have full time supervision on site during project.
INSURANCE:
The Contractor shall submit proof of general liability and worker’s compensation insurance prior to the start of project construction.
SCHEDULE:
This information will go to the City Council on February 1, 2022 to be discussed and decide if the building will be repaired or demolished. Work can begin, if City Council chooses to repair, after contract is signed by the City Manager. Completion date shall be on or before July 29, 2022.
PROPOSAL AWARD:
Bids shall be submitted to the City Hall Inspections Office, 100 North Broadway, New Ulm, Minnesota 56073 no later than 1:30 P.M., January 20, 2022. Bids shall be sealed in an envelope clearly marked “307 Wall Replacement”.
WITHDRAWL OF BIDS:
A bidder may withdraw their bid at any time prior to the scheduled time for receipt of bids. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 30 calendar days after the scheduled opening of bids without the consent of the City of New Ulm.
AWARD OF CONTRACT:
Contract shall be awarded to the lowest most responsible bidder.
REJECTION OF BIDS:
The City of New Ulm reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY:
