Advertisement for Bids
Sealed bids may be delivered to the Office of the Finance Director, Municipal Building, located at 100 North Broadway, New Ulm, Minnesota 56073 prior to the 10:00 A.M. bid opening on WEDNESDAY, the 15th day of December, 2021. The City will publicly open and read all bids received by the Finance Director immediately thereafter for the furnishing of all labor, tools, equipment, materials and every other article or thing necessary for the complete the following project, to-wit:
2021 -2023 Ash tree removal
Work includes removal of ash trees at various locations within the City limits of New Ulm, Minnesota.
All bids must be sealed and marked “2021-2023 Ash Tree Removal”. The bid will remain subject to acceptance for 45 days after the day of bid opening. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
The plans and specifications prepared by the Planner for the City are on file and may be examined at the Office of the City Manager, 100 North Broadway, New Ulm, Minnesota 56073 or on the City’s website www.newulmmn.gove/i aspx and included maps, address locartions of trees and diameter breast height of trees to be remobed.
Approximate quantities of work include: Removal of up to 315 Ash Trees from City Rights-of-Way, hauling away of all tree material removed to the City Compost Site and placed in the “Dead and Diseased Trees” location.
