NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A

LIVESTOCK FEEDLOT PERMIT

Notice is hereby given per Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 116, and Martin County’s feedlot ordinance, that Mark Evers has made an application to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency / County of Brown for a permit to build a new feedlot.

The new feedlot will be in the SE ™ of the SW ™ in Section 24 Bashaw Township, Brown County, Minnesota. The new facility will be 101’10” by 197′ and will hold 2400 head of finishing swine weighing between 55 pounds to 300 pounds for a total of 720 animal units. The proposed new barn will be a 101’10” x 197′ total confinement facility with an 8′ deep below barn concrete manure pit for 12 months of storage. The total number of animal units on this site after building the new barn will be 720.

This publication shall constitute as notice to each resident and each owner of real property within 5000 feet of the perimeter of the proposed feedlot, as required by Minnesota State Law.
