NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING on DLC MANUFACTURING AND FABRICATION, INC.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of New Ulm, Brown County, Minnesota, will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located in the New Ulm City Hall, 100 North Broadway, New Ulm, Minnesota, for the purpose of securing citizen input regarding a proposed loan of $250,000 to DLC Manufacturing and Fabrication, Inc. (DLC), 1510 South Minnesota Street, New Ulm, Minnesota.

DLC is requesting approximately $250,000 to assist with the purchase of equipment for their new facility at 24 Somsen Street. The proposed loan would be made from the City’s Revolving Loan Fund. The City financial assistance will be in the form of a fixed term, below-market interest rate loan. Information concerning the loan is available at the City Manager’s Office in City Hall.

A person with residence in, or the owner of taxable property in the City of New Ulm may file a written complaint with the City, if the City fails to comply with Sections 116J.993 to 116J.995 of Minnesota Statutes, and no action may be filed against the City for the failure to comply unless a written complaint is filed.

All interested persons in attendance will be given an opportunity to speak on this matter. Written testimony must be received by noon, Tuesday, February 18, 2020, and shall be submitted to:

NOTICE OF MORTGAGE

FORECLOSURE SALE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that default has occurred in the conditions of that certain mortgage dated April 24, 2014, executed by Rodney Ruehling, a single person, as Mortgagor, to Frandsen Bank & Trust, as Mortgagee, filed with the Brown County Recorder on May 5, 2014, as Document No. 397809;

That no action or proceeding has been instituted at law to recover the debt secured by said mortgage, or any part thereof; that there has been compliance with all notice provisions and conditions precedent as required by law; and that the mortgagee or assignee has elected to declare the entire sum secured by the note and mortgage to be immediately due and payable as provided in the note and mortgage;

That the original or maximum principal amount secured by the mortgage was Ninety-Two Thousand Three Hundred Fifty-One and 73/100 DOLLARS ($92,351.73);
