• Joshua Eric Henry, 51, Winthrop, was charged with felony possession of stolen property and fourth-degree misdemeanor DWI Sept. 22.
Sibley County Deputy Sheriff Cody Theis conducted a traffic stop on County Road 57 south of Winthrop Sept. 18 due to a vehicle pulling a trailer without operable lights. Henry was identified as the vehicle driver.
Michael Lee Doering, 72, Winthrop, was identified as a passenger who admitted to Deputy Theis that the trailer they towed was stolen and they were driving to dump the trailer on a gravel road for law enforcement to find later.
Authorities later confirmed the trailer was stolen in Carver County and was valued at $4,000.
Henry admitted he knew the vehicle he towed was stolen and admitted to previously using methamphetamine and was arrested. A blood sample was collected and sent to the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for analysis. He was booked and released.
Both men told law enforcement they picked up the stolen trailer at the Michael Joseph Korkemeier residence in Sibley County. Korkemeier confirmed the trailer was on his property and he knew it was stolen.
Korkemeier and Doering were arrested, booked for felony receiving stolen property and released. The three men will appear in court at 9 a.m. Oct. 22.
• Starla Esther Roach, 53, Greenville, Iowa was charged Sept. 14 with felony fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor introducing contraband into a jail.
Minnesota State Trooper Kyle Koeberl conducted a traffic stop for speed on State Highway 15 Sept. 13. Roach was identified as a back seat passenger after trooper Koeberl noticed a burnt chemical odor on the vehicle. Trooper Koeberl found a baggie in Roach's purse with more than ¼ gram of methamphetamine and arrested Roach. She denied having any more contraband. At jail, staff found a baggie with a gram of methamphetamine in the changing room after Roach was changed out. A court hearing was set for 9 a.m. Oct. 29.
