Brown County District Court

• Derek Lee Schreyer, 54, New Ulm, was charged Friday with two gross misdemeanor counts of 3rd-degree DWI-one aggravating factor.

According to court documents, a New Ulm Police officer was patrolling northbound on Broadway near Center Street at 10:49 p.m. when a saw a vehicle traveling westbound on Center with no headlights or taillights. The officer stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as Schreyer who showed intoxication clues. Schreyer admitted to drinking. A preliminary breath test registered .17%.

Schreyer was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail. He submitted a Data Master breath test that registered .19% within two hours of the traffic stop.

Sibley County District Court

• Daniel James Fuller, 54, Lakeville, was charged Thursday with 2nd-degree assault, threat of violence, domestic assault and fleeing a peace officer by means other than a motor vehicle. Unconditional bail was set at $100,000 cash or bond or $50,000 cash or bond conditional bail. An omnibus hearing was set for 10:30 a.m. April 25.

• Troy Christopher Johnson, 49, Hamburg, appeared for a probation violation admit/deny hearing on underlying conviction offenses of felony theft and felony 5th-degree controlled substance possession. Johnson admitted a probation violation by using non-prescribed controlled substances. He was ordered to serve 45 days in the Sibley County Jail, credited with 5 days served, complete an updated comprehensive assessment and his probation was reinstated.
