• A felony third-degree drug possess 10 grams or more of a narcotic other than heroin was charged against Dietrick Aaron Gill, 42 of Morgan. According to court documents, New Ulm Police were dispatched to Ilpea Industries, 2523 Bridge St. South at 8:17 p.m. Nov. 29 for an employee who found drug narcotics and paraphernalia. A witness said an employee, Gill, was hiding drugs on the premises and they were in a blue case. and that Gill was in a conference room.

The witness said Gill admitted he had used methamphetamine paraphernalia pipes in locked cabinet. Cpl. Dusty Fleck opened an unlocked box and saw it contained several paraphernalia pipes, some unopened, in plastic packaging. There was also a clear pipe that appeared to be unused and two used pipes. Cpl. Fleck knew they appeared to be methamphetamine pipes. Cpl. Fleck found another used pipe and a Fuzion TU-200 professional, digital scale.

New Ulm Police Officer Greg Miller opened a box that contained two small glass jars with a white, crystal substance that appeared to be methamphetamine. A jar with a green lid contained 9.16 grams of meth. A jar with a black lid contained one gram of methamphetamine.
