Tax-forfeited land sale in Springfield approved
NEW ULM — Brown County commissioners unanimously approved the sale of tax-forfeited land in Springfield Tuesday. The City of Springfield requested the sale of the property at 124 Park Avenue North that was forfeited in July 2017 to the City of Springfield for $500 plus applicable fees, due to blighted condition as part of rehabilitation program. Springfield spent $4,987.16 on the demolition of the blighted/abandoned home in 2012.
