Missing 12-year-old Sayvon Deongelo Brown was last seen leaving the residence walking towards Mankato around 8:30 pm Sunday, wearing dark clothing

EAGLE LAKE – On the evening of Sunday, April 19 Blue Earth deputies responded to a juvenile runaway complaint at a rural residence on County Road 17 near Eagle Lake.

Deputies were told that 12-year-old Sayvon Deongelo Brown was last seen leaving the residence walking towards Mankato around 8:30 pm wearing dark clothing.

Multiple searches were conducted in the area including the use of unmanned aerial systems from the Sheriff’s Office and Mankato DPS without success. Additional investigation today determined that Sayvon was picked up by a light-colored, 4-door pickup truck in the area of Highway 22 and Adams Street just before 10 pm Sunday night.

Sayvon Brown is a light-skinned black male and is approximately five feet tall and weighs about 80 pounds. The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about Sayvon Brown to call us at (507) 304-4863.
