New Bridging Brown County director appointed

2 min read

Bridging Brown County recently announced the selection of Lindsy Ludewig as its new executive director.

Ludewig has been a member of the Brown County community most of her life, including growing up in Springfield, having and raising a family in Comfrey, and having a career in Springfield for her entire adult life.

Ludewig said the appointment is an "amazing opportunity to give back to the community that has done so much for me and my family."

"I am excited to serve with Bridging Brown County in a new capacity," she said. "I have gone through the leadership program, served on the board, and now get to be back involved with the program, and I am so excited to do more with the leadership program and its enrollees."

She is a 2004 graduate of Springfield High School. After her college graduation, she returned home to marry Nicholas Ludewig. They moved to Comfrey to raise their family of three boys, Jackson, Gavin, and Oliver.

"I feel community programs like this are important for families looking for areas to raise their families in, you want to live in a community that is proud to share what they have to offer and help build leaders within it."

Ludewig can be contacted at BridgingBrownCountyDirector@gmail.com for questions about the program, or to be a part of this year's leadership course.
