BROWN COUNTY — Comfrey trapper Matt Bowman said he likes trapping beaver, but a beaver may have escaped Bowman’s efforts in Mulligan Township by taking his trap earlier this month. “It’s a challenge. The Nicollet County Pork Producers (NCPP) is offering a $750 scholarship to a 2024 high school graduate pursuing a post-secondary education at a 2-year or 4-year school majoring in an agriculture-related field of study. NEW ULM — Brown County commissioners unanimously voted Tuesday to table a MOA (Memorandum of Agreement) with the Local No. 94 Licensed Deputies Union to establish a career ladder.
