Lexi Platz and Eric Niemerg

Lexi Platz and Eric Niemerg were married on September 21, 2019 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Lafayette, with Father Matthew Wiering and Father Bruno Santiago officiating.

Parents are Paul and Donita Platz of Lafayette, and Joe and Deb Niemerg of Dieterich, Ill. Grandparents are Joseph and Janet Platz, and Fred and Betty Porter, all of New Ulm; Jerome and Jeanette Koberg of Mankato; and Phyllis Haarmann of Effingham, IL. Lexi is a graduate of GFW High School in Winthrop, and Minnesota State University, Mankato. She is employed at The Equity in Effingham, IL as an accountant. Eric is a graduate of Dieterich High School, and Lake Land College in Mattoon, IL. He is employed at Sloan Implement as a mechanic, and he also farms.

The couple resides on a farm near Wheeler, Ill.
