Milford 4-H Club says ‘Thank You’ to

New Ulm Community Education

The Milford 4-H Club would like to say “Thank You” to the New Ulm Area Community Education Program for the grant dollars we received for our successful community services project entitled “Bags of Joy.” We would like to thank everyone with Meals on Wheels for allowing us to partner with them to deliver the “Bags of Joy” on Monday February 20th. We also like to thank the drivers who allowed us to follow them while delivering the meals and for helping us deliver the bags we put together for the senior citizens. Finally, we would like to thank Dollar Tree for helping to make this project possible.

Our club members decorated 85 brown grocery bags and filled them with several useful items. Some of the items were tissues, notepads, snacks, lotion, shampoo, St. Patrick’s Day decorations and note cards. We had a great time doing this project and we are glad to brighten the day for the senior citizens of New Ulm!
