The buzz about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) is not going away…for good reason. Focus on logical thought processes and problem solving skills helps all students, even those not pursuing STEM careers. Early learners benefit from strengthened independent learning skills, exposure to new technologies and introduction to STEM concepts and skills, including authentic scientific practices. Libraries help people from all ages and backgrounds gain access to learning resources. To that end, the New Ulm Library “Library of Things” has added additional fun STEM activities to spark curiosity and support learning. We have added new items for adults and families, too: Wordle (the board game), Tapple, Minnesota-opoly, Wrong Party and a Ghost Hunter kit! We hope you enjoy these additions!

The library is located at 17 N. Broadway and is open to the public Monday to Thursday 9:30 a.m.-8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
