“New Ulm Diabetes Walk” says Thank you

The Lions Club of New Ulm and the Lafayette Area Lions Club would like to say “Thank You very much” to all individuals and businesses who attended and/or gave donations to our Seventh Annual “New Ulm Diabetes Walk.”

Thirty Five people enjoyed the walk and more than $12,000 was raised for the Minnesota Lions Diabetes Foundation. This money will be used for research at the University of Minnesota to find a CURE for diabetes.

There is still time to make a donation of any amount at www.nudbwalk.com or by sending a check made out to “MN Lions Diabetes Foundation” and mailing it to, Lion Bob Schirlinger, 801 N Payne St., New Ulm, MN 56073.

It is through projects like this that the Minnesota Lions Diabetes Foundation will fulfill their dream, “A Cure for Diabetes”.
