And Lots Of Fun

Armistice day will be celebrated in New Ulm by a two day carnival which will be staged at the New Ulm Armory by the Ben J. Seifert Post of the American Legion. The celebration is rapidly taking shape and promises to be the outstanding event of the year in the amusement and entertainment field. Every member of the Ben J. Seifert Post, and there are now 120 of them, have laid out their special duties and the result with be offering to the public of one the "homiest and pleasantest good times" every enjoyed in this city
Novel Entertainment Features
Special effort has been put on the entertainment features. Some surprises will be sprung and some new talent will be uncovered. There will be plenty of entertainment and excitement for old and young. The dances planned for each evening will be special attractions and will be planned for old and young alike. There will be balloons, confetti and all the other trimmings that make up a good time. The music will be of the best, the Post having competed with three other towns for the privilege of the special of having this 9 piece orchestra.
Special Prizes
Perhaps the greatest interest will center around the prizes to be given away on Friday, the second and final evening of the festival. Tickets for admission to the Armory are numbered and the holder of the lucky stub C will win a new Ford Sedan all ready a to drive off the floor. Two other prizes- diamond rings, valued at $150 and $75 will console at least two others of the less fortunate. These tickets are on sale at 10 cents each and may obtained from any member of the Post as well as from some of the business houses in town.
Become Annual Event
This annual Legion Festival is commanding the interest of the entire community. The business men of New Ulm are unanimous in the opinion that the event will be such as to center the attention of the surrounding territory in this city. There will be something worth while going on every minute during the two days time. Five different committees are at work and the result is bound to be a happy time for everyone who will attend this social time and enjoy it with their friends.
