Cars Never Before Shown Here will Be Among Big Features–No Booths on Main Floor.

At an enthusiastic meeting of local automobile dealers, held last Thursday evening, considerable preliminary work was accomplished for the 1926 New Ulm Auto show, which is to be staged at the New Ulm Armory, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 18, 19 and 20. In addition to fixing the dates for this gain annual event, many other important details were discussed, and committees appointed to make the necessary arrangements.

Professional Talent

Experience gained as a result of previous auto shows, has demonstrated the proper kind of entertainment for an occasion of this nature, and preparations are being made accordingly. The principal program features will be presented by professional talent, and the committee is already negotiating for some of the latest and best hits obtainable. A very extensive program, including a greater variety of entertainment than has ever before been offered, with many new and novel numbers, is being prepared, and the committee in charge assures every visitor plenty of amusement. The programs will be continuous, after-noons and evenings.

No Booths on Main Floor

In order to provide more room, and to better accommodate the exhibitors of automobiles, as well as the large audiences that are expected to attend, it has been decreed that no accessories booths will be allowed on the main floor of the Armory. Space will be allotted to this featured of the show elsewhere in the building. This innovation will greatly facilitated the placing of motor vehicle sand the general arrangement of the show room. Last year, space was crowded to capacity as a result of the fact that accessories booth were arranged on the main floor.

New Cars Coming

Among the automotive exhibits at the 1926 New Ulm Auto show, there will be several cars never before shown in this city. In consequence thereof, the coming attraction will out rival its predecessors in the number and variety of machines displayed. Last year’s auto show was a wonderful success, but this year’s event promises to eclipse it by a considerable margin, in every way.

Committees Appointed

At the meeting, last Thursday evening, the following committees were named to make the necessary preparations for the coming Auto show:

Entertainment and Music–J. P. Graff, Armin F. Retzlaff and John C. Siebenbrunner.

Advertising — A. R. Walsh, Alfred H. Broecker and Frank Kretsch.

Finance–Robert Fesenmaier and J.P. Graff.

Show Room and Decorations-H.G. Brand, Otto Niemann, G. W. Schlottman, Ben. Fesenmaier and Ben. Reinhart.

J. P. Graff is chairman, and Robert Fesenmaier secretary-treasurer of the general committee.
