EARL MADSEN turned the first spadeful of earth Monday on the site of the super, supermarket planned by Madsen Enterprises on N. Broadway. The project is to be a 55,000 square foot market on a 2-block site bordered by Broadway and Washington, 16th and 17th N. Behind Madsen were local businessmen, city officials and other dignitaries.
