Lexi Platz and Eric Niemerg

Paul and Donita Platz of Lafayette announce the engagement of their daughter, Lexi, to Eric Niemerg, son of Joe and Deb Niemerg of Dieterich, IL.

Lexi is a 2012 graduate of GFW High School in Winthrop, and a 2016 graduate of Minnesota State University-Mankato. She is employed at The Equity in Effingham, IL as an accountant.

Eric is a 2004 graduate of Dieterich High School, and a 2006 graduate of Lake Land College in Mattoon, IL. He is employed at Sloan Implement as a mechanic, and he also farms.

Lexi and Eric will be married at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Lafayette on Sept. 21, 2019.
