Candace Teigen and Matthew Mecklenburg announce their engagement.
Parents of the couple are Dave and Ruth Mecklenburg of Sleepy Eye, and Kevin and Sonja Teigen of Moorhead.
Candace is a graduate of Moorhead Senior High School State University-Moorhead, Anoka Ramsey Community College and Bethel University. Prior to her current position as a Critical Care Supervisor at Essentia Health in Fargo, North Dakota, she was a travel RN with Cross Country TravCore.
Matt is a graduate of Sleepy Eye St. Mary's High School, Central Lakes Community College, and North Dakota State University. He is a Land Steward and Burn Boss for The Nature Conservancy in northwestern Minnesota.
The couple has planned a Jan. 19, 2019, wedding at "The Barn at Dunvilla" near Pelican Rapids.
