Brown Co. board OKs paving, debris removal quotes

BROWN COUNTY — Brown County commissioners unanimously approved paving and debris removal quotes Tuesday. Approval of MR Paving & Excavating’s $21,810 quote to pave the improved radius at the north leg of the CSAH 16/TH 14 intersection came on a motion by Commissioner Brian Braun, seconded by Dave Borchert. Three quotes were requested. Only one quote was received. The engineer’s estimate was $22,040. With construction of a truck fuel station at the intersection, the radius in the northeast corner needs improvement for westbound trucks to safely turn north to enter the station. The ...

NPS School Board discusses new cell phone legislation

NICOLLET -- Minnesota Statute 121A.73, also known as the School Cell Phone Policy, went into effect on May 18, 2024, during the 2024 Minnesota legislature session.
