Redwood County Sheriff’s Office

• Was dispatched to a one-vehicle crash with injuries at 6:47 p.m., Saturday, June 8 in Sanborn. A 2004 Ford pickup driven by Jason Schwartz, 38, Sanborn, was demolished. Schwartz was transported by Springfield Ambulance to the Springfield Medical Center. Sanborn First Responders and the Sanborn Fire Department assisted. The crash is under investigation.

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash near CR 7 and 85th Street north of Stewart at 3:02 p.m. June 7. A Honda motorcycle driven by Rodney Hoecke, 57, Hutchinson crashed in a ditch. The motorcycle was towed. Also responding were the Stewart Fire Department and Buffalo Lake Ambulance.

• Responded to a driving complaint near Highway 15 and 135th Street north of Brownton at 8:04 p.m., June 8. Nicholas Gardner, 27, Winthrop, was arrested on probable cause DWI and transported to the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe. Brownton Police also responded.

• Responded to a suspicious activity report at 3:11 a.m. June 9 on Highway 15 north of Brownton. Deputies did not locate the activity and cleared without reports.
