NEW ULM — Friday night is “Gag Sheet Metal Night” at the New Ulm Civic Center when the New Ulm Steel face Alexandria in an NA3HL game at the New Ulm Civic Center.

Twenty lucky fans will win some Gag Sheet Metal merchandise.

Then on Saturday, when the Steel face first-place Granite City, the Steel will be partnering with the New Ulm Wild Bunch and the New Ulm Special Olympics with a silent auction that begins 30 minutes prior to the 7:10 p.m. game and concludes at the start of the third period.

Anyone wishing to donate items or cash for the silent auction are asked to reach out on the New Ulm Special Olympics Facebook page, email newulmspecialolympics@gmail.com or text 507-276-9006. Items can be picked up for those who request it.

All proceeds will go to the New Ulm Special Olympics.

The Steel have also invited the New Ulm Special Olympics team to join and support them at the game. Special Olympics athletes and staff get in free.
