The New Ulm 16U Red team took first in the Southern Star State Qualifier at Caswell Park in North Mankato on Sunday. The team was undefeated until the championship game, where they fell 5-3 to Misfits Voges. But with double elimination, Red played Misfits Voges again and won 2-1.
