St. Clair 57, Madelia 52

MADELIA — St. Clair held off Madelia 57-52 on Tuesday night in a Valley Conference boys’ basketball game.

Madelia was led by Ja’Sean Glover’s 28 points and 15 rebounds. Hayden Jones also had 12 points on four 3s for the Blackhawks, while Isaac Bergeman pulled in 10 rebounds.

Madelia (11-13) hosts Glenville-Emmons at 7 p.m. Thursday night.

SJA 93, Nicollet 56

NICOLLET — St. James Area downed Nicollet 93-56 on Tuesday night in a nonconference boys’ basketball game.

Nicollet was led by Grant Bruns’ 15 points, while Conner Martens added 14 points. Also for the Raiders, Colton Thomsen had 12 points and Jeffrey Volby had 7.

Nicollet (7-17) travels to Comfrey to take on Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
