But a 3-pointer from Charlie Osborne gave the Eagles a 44-41 lead with 12 minutes left and New Ulm never lost the lead.

New Ulm increased its lead to 51-42 later on a James Osborne basket.

St. Peter cut the lead to 57-49 before Colton Benson buried a 3-pointer that sparked a 7-0 run

Two free throws from Charlie Osborne with just over 5 minutes to go in the game saw the Eagles holding a commanding 64-49 lead.

St. Peter rallied to cut the lead to 66-61 and then 70-63.

But the Eagles ran off a 5-0 run for a 75-63 lead with 1 minute left in the game — New Ulm’s last 2 points in that spurt coming on Fischer’s third dunk of the game.
