OLIVIA — The Springfield/Cedar Mountain cross-country team participated in a meet at Olivia on Thursday, with senior Mitchell Buerkle leading the way.

Buerkle finished first for the boys with a time of 16:29, while sophomore Lilly McCone finished seventh for the girls with a time of 20:56.

In the junior high run, seventh-grader Matthew Groebner took first with a time of 9:37.
