• In a road victory over Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s last Tuesday, Mara Weisensel set a school record for kills in a single match with 33.

• Pearson played a major role in helping Weisensel get to the school record, tallying up a personal-best 47 set assists in the match. Pearson also had 16 digs in the win.

• Weisensel and Pearson just started their final season for MVL volleyball and look to go out on a high note. Teamwork and perseverance paid off for the duo last Tuesday, and the Chargers could be in good shape the rest of the season if they continue this kind of play.
