NEW ULM — The bracket for the Division 1, Sub-State 2 has been shuffled around a bit again after postponements and recent game results.

Despite originally being set to take on Jordan late Saturday, New Ulm Legion Gold will now play Sleepy Eye on Saturday at 1:30 p.m., while Jordan, who blanked Worthington Friday, will shuffle over to play Mankato American, who fell to Gold Friday night, at 11 a.m. Saturday. All team’s left have one playoff loss, other than Gold, who is still in the winner’s bracket unbeaten.

These games were moved around to avoid playoff rematches.

If Sleepy Eye beats Gold on Saturday, the newly scheduled 4 p.m. game Saturday will be Sleepy Eye vs. the winner of the American-Jordan game, with that winner meeting Gold at 11 a.m. Sunday for the championship and right to go to state. If Gold beats Sleepy Eye, Gold will play at 4 p.m. in the championship game Saturday.

All games will be played at Mueller Park.
