New Ulm Legion Gold

• Knowles started the week with a 2-for-4 game against Jordan, adding an RBI in an 8-2 legion baseball win.

• In Upper Midwest Classic action in New Ulm on Friday, Knowles drove in a run and had a base hit in a 5-2 win over North St. Paul. In UMC action on Saturday, Knowles had another pair of hits and three RBIs to go with a trio of defensive gems at shortstop in a 7-4 win over Eastview. Gold went on to win the UMC title on Sunday after a 4-3 win over Chaska at Mueller Park.
