SLEEPY EYE — Sleepy Eye Legion Post 7 downed Waseca 10-0 in five innings of legion baseball on Thursday night.

Matt Sellner got the win for Post 7, pitching two innings and giving up one hit with a strikeout. Dallas Bauer pitched two innings of relief and struck out two.

Carter Brinkman had three RBIs and a two-run homer for Post 7, while Zach Haala was 2 for 2 with a double and Nathan Walter was 2 for 3 with a double and three RBIs.

Sleepy Eye is 7-2 now this season and plays in tournament action in Mankato at 1:30 p.m. Friday against Mankato American. Post 7 then plays again at 3:30 p.m. Friday against Prior Lake.
