Gibbon 4, Sleepy Eye 2

SLEEPY EYE — Gibbon defeated Sleepy Eye 4-2 in a Tomahawk East League amateur baseball game on Wednesday.

Jon DeRock earned the win for the Reds. He went seven innings, allowed four hits and he struck out three. He walked five. DeRock was also 3 for 4 at the plate with an RBI.

Austin Fischer took the loss. He allowed two runs in two innings and walked two. Alan Woitas pitched seven innings and allowed five hits.

Lamberton 7, Stark 6

LAMBERTON — Lamberton scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to come back and beat Stark in Tomahawk East League action on Wednesday.

Johnny Pistulka earned the win for Lamberton. He pitched 1 2/3 innings and struck out two.

Adam Sellner took the loss. He pitched 2 2/3 innings, allowed five hits and three runs.

For Lamberton, Cole Pankonin was 4 for 5 with three RBIs and a run scored and Isaac Jenniges was 3 for 4 with two runs scored.

For Stark, Zach Haala was 3 for 5 with two runs scored.
