SLEEPY EYE — Sleepy Eye defeated Redwood Falls 12-6 in American Legion baseball action on Thursday.

Dallas Bauer pitched four innings to get the win. He ave up four runs on eight hits. Matt Sellner pitched two innings and struck out four for Sleepy Eye.

Offensively, Nathan Walter was 4 for 4 with two triples and Carter Brinkman was 2 for 2 with two triples.

Sleepy Eye hosts New Ulm Gold in a doubleheader at 6 p.m. on Monday.
