REDWOOD FALLS — Isaac Fink scored a school-record 43 points and grabbed 21 rebounds as Springfield defeated Redwood Valley in a nonconference.

Decker Scheffler had 29 points and 11 rebounds for the Tigers. Springfield hosts Sleepy Eye on Tuesday.

Cedar Mountain 83,

Wabasso 38

WABASSO — Cedar Mountain crushed Wabasso in a Tomahawk Conference boys’ basketball game on Monday.

For Cedar Mountain, Lewis Pendleton had 20 points, 13 assists, five rebounds and four blocks. Trey Peterson-Juhl had 16 points and Tavi Nelson scored 12 points for the Cougars. Andre Larson also scored 12 points.

Brock Rohlik led Wabasso with 10 points.

Loyola 57, Nicollet 49

NICOLLET — Riley Hulke scored 19 points and had six assists in a losing effort as Mankato Loyola defeated Nicollet in a Valley Conference boys’ basketball game.

Josh Chadderdon had 14 points, seven rebounds and five steals and Anthony Macias had 9 points and nine rebounds.

JWP 48, Madelia 43

MADELIA — Madelia’s JaSean Glover scored 16 points, grabbed seven rebounds and had three steals but Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton defeated Madelia in Valley Conference boys’ basketball.

Madelia (3-7, 0-2 Valley) is at Alden-Conger on Thursday.

Nicollet/Loyola 37

MOUNTAIN LAKE — Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey defeated Nicollet/Mankato Loyola in a nonconference girls’ basketball game on Monday.

Lexi Toll led MLA/C with 12 points and Jill Thompson had 9 points and eight rebounds for Nicollet.

Nicollet (2-10) plays Alden-Conger on Friday at Loyola.

Redwood Valley 58,

GFW 37

REDWOOD VALLEY — Redwood Valley defeated Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop in a Tomahawk Conference girls’ basketball game.

Sydney Sommers and Haley Garman each had 23 points.

Brynn Busse had 12 points for GFW.

GFW is at Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s on Tuesday.
