Nick Dewanz of New Ulm was the local winner of last week’s winner of the Power Points Pro Football picking contest with 128 points. Dewanz wins $10 in local chamber bucks as a result.

The national winner of $1,000 was Jerod Barton, of Jasonville, IN, who had 136 total points.

Look for contest information in the sports section every Tuesday during the NFL regular season. Fill out the weekly picks and drop them off or mail them to The Journal, 303 North Minnesota Street, New Ulm, Mn. 56073.

Local winners will be announced each Thursday and they will be awarded $10 in chamber bucks, and local contestants are eligible for the nation-wide $1,000 prize every week.
