DELANO — New Ulm defeated Delano in nonconference girls’ basketball action on Saturday.
Joey Batt led the Eagles with 17 points and Hannah Osborne scored 7 points. Morgan Eikanger finished with 6 points.
New Ulm is at Redwood Valley on Tuesday.
Sleepy Eye 63, NRHEG 42
HAYFIELD — Sleepy Eye defeated New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva in nonconference girls’ basketball on Saturday.
Madi Heiderscheidt led the Indians with 24 points and six assists and Brianna Polesky had 16 points, five steals, five assists, and six rebounds. McKenzie Cselovszki also scored 10 points for the Indians.
NRHEG was led by Betsy Schoenrock with 20 points.
Sleepy Eye is now 12-3 and will host Springfield on Tuesday.

ORONO — New Ulm and Orono tied in a nonconference girls’ hockey game on Saturday.
Ali Beltz scored both of New Ulm’s goals.
New Ulm is at Worthington on Tuesday.
Boys’ basketball
RRC 67, HBC 28
LAMBERTON — Red Rock Central defeated Hills-Beaver Creek in a Red Rock Conference boys’ basketball game on Saturday.
Brady Rasmussen scored 17 points and had eight assists for the Falcons and Sam Hillmer had 16 points. Sam Hansen finished with 14 points and Spencer Holland had 12 points, six rebounds, five steals and four blocks.
RRC (10-2, 5-1) is at Murray County Central on Tuesday.
Prep wrestling
New Ulm takes 6th at Big South meet
WASECA — The New Ulm wrestling team finished sixth at the Big South Conference meet on Saturday.
Hunter Ranweiler finished first at 145 pounds and Tanner Stark was second at 152. Colby Wenninger also placed second at 220 and Sean Howk was third at 138.
Jackson Bode (113) and Lane Miller (160) both finished sixth for the Eagles.
