SAUK RAPIDS –The New Ulm Steel were able to sneak past the West-Division leading Granite City Lumberjacks on Saturday 1-0 in NA3HL action.

The win gives the Steel their seventh consecutive win and improves their record to 10-4 on the year.

Tom Reilly scored the lone goal on the night off of an assist from Jimmy Miller and Oliver Hoeschen. The goal was Reilly’s ninth on the season.

Steel goalie Ryan Kenny had 37 saves and picked up the win.

The Steel return to action at 7:30 p.m. on Friday against Breezy Point.
